On-demand label printing made easy

Thermal Transfer printers use a special ribbon between the print head and the label or tag. Heat from the print head releases dry ink from the ribbon, which bonds to the label surface via a unique chemical reaction.

Thermal printers operate at up to 600 dpi on a wide range of paper and synthetic media. Print quality surpasses any other variable print process and is the best platform for printing bar codes. They offer fast and efficient transfer of variable data from source to label. Nameplate quality labels can be printed in any format, material and size.

Direct Thermal printing does not require a ribbon. Instead, thermally sensitive paper is used to produce the image. Thermal labels darken in heat or light, which makes them only suitable for short-life labels.
