Barcode Verifiers

CCD Scanners
have a row of tiny light sensors and can view a whole barcode at once. They contain no moving parts, so are very robust.

Laser Scanners use a mirror to scan a laser beam back and forth across the barcode. They are quick, accurate and can read smaller bar codes than CCD scanners. You scan wider bar codes by holding a laser scanner further away.

Batch Terminals store data on the terminal for later transfer to a computer. A portable batch terminal contains a scanner, an LCD display with user prompts and a keyboard to enter data. A cradle uploads captured data to a host computer.

RF Terminals are wireless, portable scanners that store data in memory. Data is transmitted to the host in real time.
