The quality of the print depends upon the quality of the ribbon
It is vitally important to ensure that the ribbon to be used is compatible with the substrate onto which it will print and the thermal printer with which it will be used.

Zygology Ribbons use silicon backcoats to:

Reduce the printhead's energy requirements.

Prevent the polyester base film from sticking to the thermal printhead

Dissipate static electricity that can damage the printhead

Minimise ribbon wrinkle and slippage

Reduce printhead cleaning frequency.
